I'm the one in the middle. The one that needs to try DECAF!

Sushi Jr started playing guitar about 6 months ago. He podcasts his practice sessions on a website called justin.tv.
He comes up to my house about once a month for a few days and brings his PC and webcam with him. We just jam
around for hours and it's all recorded on the websites server. We are able to pull clips from those sessions and give
them a title and a description for others to see. We have a few clips from our jams.

This one was an open tuning I decided to try out. The strings are all tuned differently than normal so it's like a new instrument
to me. Again, we are just jamming around, having fun making noise that loosely resembles music.

I called this clip "Jugband Jam"
There's Sushi Jr on the Left, me on the right, and my daughter, Sushi fembot texting in the background.

Nice! You need to teach your son and wife how to really get into the music, I used to be in a band where I was the only one that would shake and move which left me looking like a fool. How long has your wife been playing bass? I think I've been playing for roughly 3 years, it's a great instrument because in jam session it's next to impossible to fuck it up. Does your daughter play any instruments besides the cell phone?

I got Mrs Sushi that bass guitar for Christmas. She started playing guitar last summer and I'm getting her to play some bass lines for us. She also plays the piano. My daughter, Sushi Fembot, doesn't want to put in the practice to play an instrument. She wants to play, but can't put down her cell phone long enough to do anything else...LOLZ!

The first song I taught Mrs Sushi and Sushi Jr was a song I learned when I was 12. It uses an open tuning and someone with no experience can learn this song in one sitting. I call it "The Spanish Fandango"

ENJOY!

Sush~
