Well as many of u ko.ufc 100 is coming up. with two championship fights..Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir ...and GSP and Thiago Alves...also u got my home boy Hendo(Dan Henderson) Fighting The Count(Michael Bisping). I just wanna know who u guys think is gonna win each fight....
First i think Brock is gonna rape mir...if u sen their first fight then u will see that mir was getting the shit beat out of him and got lucky with a submission.
Second i think thiago alves is gonna barley beat GSP..but i can see GSP coming back and winning a second fight in the future for his belt back.
Third i am compleely clueless of who is gonna win between Hendo and Bisping. But if i had to pick i would go tward Hendo.

GSP wins because he is arguably one of the best wrestlers in MMA. He's impossible to take-down and his take-downs are nigh unstoppable. His ground and pound is equally impressive. He also has some of the better conditioning in the game. This is why GSP wins. GSP controls the entire fight and if he gets tired or scurred he can just take his opponent down and lay there (a la GSP vs. BJ 1; where GSP got whalloped pretty badly for the first 1.5 rounds and then stalled for the other 1.5 to pull off a decision).
GSP will NOT move down to 155. He's already considered a "hulk" of the 170lb division. He has no fat to drop. A cut to 155 would mean cutting at least 15lbs of muscle off his frame and, frankly, the UFC already has enough wrestlers in the 155lb division (Sherk, Maynard, Edgar, Griffin, Tibau, etc). People want to say that GSP will actually move UP in divisions. Personally, GSP has no place at 185; he's not big enough and the strikers there are serious business. The reason some GSP-fans want to see his move up is to have him fight Anderson Silva. That would be a mistake. Anderson Silva can beat; just not by GSP...ever
There has been a lot of serious talk of BJ Penn taking 8-10 months to properly add bulk and muscle to his frame for a permanent move up to 170. This is a scary thought. Previously, Penn would just put on doughy-weight for his moves up to 170. This made his cut back down to 155 a lot easier and usually ended up with BJ showing up on fight night with the conditioning of a pack-a-day smoker. At 155, BJ Penn is almost invincible. He probably won't be able to reach the same kind of greatness with a move up to 170, but he will definitely throw a serious ripple through the talent pool at Welterweight.
As for #1 p4p in the world; it's easily Fedor. No question. After that, it's Anderson Silva - because he can move up in weight classes and still whoop ass. BJ Penn is number 3 for the same reason.
GSP is N-O-T the #1 p4p or even in the top 3 because his dominance is contingent upon the fact that he is usually much stronger than his opponent. That is not what "pound-for-pound" is about. Fedor doesn't win because he's stronger than his opponents; he wins because he is technically superior and his talent goes beyond his frame (plus, he's got a spare tire around his belly). p4p indicates that you have shown how your level of ability doesn't hinge upon being bigger and stronger (this is why the concept was created). Anderson and BJ are the same way. Plus, the 2 of them have had meaningful fights in a weight division higher than their normal fighting weight. GSP has never done this and probably wouldn't do very well if he tried. Think if GSP tried his version of wrestling-domination on Dan Henderson; or tested his striking against Vitor Belfort. His skills don't translate to higher weight classes - thus, he shouldn't be the p4p greatest.

i think gsp would do very well at 185 and against silva, hes only giving up about an inch in reach, and would be and easier cut. Fedor isnt the #1 p4p fighter because hes not fighting top contenders or he fights guys who were top contenders but arent any more. The #1 p4p would have to be between GSP and Silva, and then ill take BJ behind them then fedor.

I got Hendo over Shields. Shields barely beat Jason Miller; and Henderson is an olympic-class wrestler. He ain't no punk. This will undoubtedly be the best wrestler Shields will ever fight. He will have a much harder time imposing his will on a guy like Hendo.
Hendo by KO/TKO.
edit: Grim, i love that .gif you've got for your avatar. Kobe > LeBron any day. Ya hurme?

I dont care how many mvps lebron can or will get. The flat out truth is if u retire with no rings ur not goin down in the top 5. Its as simple as that. And lerbon knows. It very well! The goal of basketball is not to c whoo can score the most or make the most passes. It is to win. and lebron is not a winner.....and u Said kobe has 3 rings with shaq. Ur right, but lemmie ask u this, if kobe was not on that lakers team would they have one even one championship???? Hell no. And when is the last team to win a champoionship without 2 allstars??? Thats never. They equally depened on each other. Kobe hit soooooo many clutch shots in the playoffs to get those championships. Plus shaq to this day calls kobe the best in the leauge. I can get prooff if u want me 2.. and lebron does too. I can get proof for that also......
And if we talked about hockey u would loose me lol
